Excursion to GIZ, Eschborn

A group of 15 FSC scholars and HiWi’s went to visit the GIZ headquarters in Eschborn near Frankfurt on March 11th, 2014. After a short introduction to the work and structure of the GIZ, the students were informed how projects and programs are developed. Since the agricultural sector as well as the topic of food security, are central issues at FSC, the topics of the presentation were chosen accordingly by the GIZ staff. Furthermore, the participants learned about cooperation possibilities and job opportunities at GIZ.
