Thai Delegation at FSC: Technologies for the kitchen of the world
On October 13th, 2014 the Rector of Suranaree University of Technology, Prof. Prasart Suebka, honoured the FSC by visiting the Center with a delegation of 12 Thai representatives. The visit was part of a “Tour through Germany”.
The University is located in the NE of Thailand in Nakhon Ratchasima, the biggest province of Thailand. Food production is the country’s most important commodity and in the last years has described itself as “the kitchen of the world”. The Thai delegates from Suranaree University came to Germany to learn about technology and innovation in agriculture.
Their program while at the University of Hohenheim consisted of a welcome by the FSC and a short introduction on what the FSC does, a discussion about the structure of the FSC and its current collaborations and followed by a visit to the the lab of Prof. Joachim Müller and Prof. Jochen Weiss.
