German conference „Wir können mehr als Currywurst. Gesunde Ernährung für alle“ of the SPD group

FSC`s director Prof. Biesalski is invited as an food security expert by the SPD group of the German Bundestag parliament to take part in a German discussion about food and consumer protection. He will be one of the keynote speakers in the panel „Healthy food for everybody – serving up social justice (Gesunde Ernährung für alle – ein Gebot sozialer Gerechtigkeit) “.
The SPD group highlights this topic in order to raises public’s awareness of healthy food and the role of consumer attitude and behaviour as well as market conditions. The aim of the SPD group is to facilitate the access to a balanced diet for all people without patronising them. More information (in German)
