Open University: Dies academicus

FSC participated at the Open University from Friday, July 1 until Saturday, July 2. At the FSC stand, staff and scholars presented the ideas behind the term “food security” as well as actual and completed research activities. Nutrition quality plays an important role in developing and developed countries. Thus, FSC collaborated with a Humboldt Reloaded project on nutrition education of infants and presented games promoting the consumption of fruits and vegetables. Healthy snacks, such as smoothies, frozen fruits, and cereals were offered.
