CLIFOOD Ethiopian Ambassador meeting

On October 5, 2020, a meeting between the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Berlin, H.E. Mrs. Mulu Solomon Bezuneh, the Consul General of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Frankfurt a.M., Mr. Fekadu Beyene Ayana and the Honorary Consul of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Stuttgart, Mr. Dr. Thomas Breitling and the CLIFOOD team took place. Prof. Dr. Reiner Doluschitz introduced the current funding phase of the CLIFOOD project,while the PhD students Markos Budusa Ware, Williams Anteyi, and Fasil Mequanint gave a brief overview of their research topics.

Dr. Christian Brandt and Dr. Nicole Schönleber reported on current and future activities of CLIFOOD. H.E. Mrs. Mulu Solomon Bezuneh has emphasized the importance of Germany as a development cooperation partner for Ethiopia. Especially in the fields of education, nutrition and agriculture as well as the protection of natural resources.
