3rd International Congress Hidden Hunger

In March 2017, the 3rd International Congress Hidden Hunger was organized by the Institute of Biological Chemistry and Nutrition of the University of Hohenheim and Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in cooperative partnership of FSC and Society of the Nutrition and Food Science (SNFS).

Scientists, industry experts and representatives of civil society and advocacy groups (NGOs) gathered to discuss how far the Post-2015 Agenda and other programs and measures adopted in 2015 to fight against world famine and poverty have already been implemented.

March 20 to 22, 2017, the FSC alumni group as well as the group from the universities of Siegen and Gießen were hosted by DAAD in Stuttgart to participate in the 3rd International Congress Hidden Hunger.

Furthermore, successfully established projects and initiatives (such as the special initiative "One World – No Hunger" of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ)) were presented at the congress.

The posters which were prepared at the previous workshops and group meeting during the alumni seminars at Hohenheim were presented at the congress by the alumni.

FSC station was welcoming the participants who were interested in knowing more about our center.
