Network Meeting of the Bilateral SDG Graduate Schools 2019

Network Meeting 2019 of 7 SDG Graduate Schools was organized by the RoHan Catalysis SDG Graduate School in Hanoi, Vietnam on September 17-22. Representatives of the German-Ethiopian SDG graduate school “Climate Change Effects on Food Security” (CLIFOOD) were invited to attend the Network Meeting. CLIFOOD Scientific Leader Dr. Tesfaye Abebe Amdie and CLIFOOD Coordinator Dr. Sintayehu Yigrem Mersha from Hawassa University, Director of the FSC Prof. Dr. Reiner Doluschitz, FSC CEO Dr. Nicole Schönleber and CLIFOOD coordinator Tetyana Tonkoshkur from the University of Hohenheim joined the delegation.

The event has started with the Interdisciplinary Symposium “International graduate schools - a contribution to internationalization and the Sustainable Development Goals“, which provided space for contributions from the DAAD and all participating Graduate Schools as well as exchange among participants. Further parts of the network meeting were workshop on cooperation possibilities on the topic “Waste” as well as thematic excursion in Hanoi and surrounding. The event provided an interactive platform for networking, exchange and development of cooperation ideas.

The Network Meeting of the SDG Graduate Schools 2018: “Making SDGs reality?” was organized by CLIFOOD in Hawassa University, Ethiopia.
