World Food Day Colloquium 2013: Water Efficiency for Food Security

Overview
The World Food Day Colloquium 2013 on “Water Efficiency for Food Security” was held at the castle of the University of Hohenheim on October 16.
Doctoral students from the ZEF and FSC attended the one-day event with a total of 150 participants at the University of Hohenheim. Four PhD students were speakers and a part of a panel discussion “Perspectives from young scientists: Water pricing – The only possibility for water saving?”. The international event offered the 16 PhD students the ability to participate in discussions, to network with renowned scientists and to confidently move on international stage.
