Citation Guideline

Please note:
Each kind of citation of your own publications and references in reports or other documents delivered to FSC or published in line with your scholarship shall be given in a specific format. Please always be aware of the correct format given in the Citation Guideline below!

Acknowledgements

All publications and other outputs based on the work during your scholarship shall always acknowledge

1. the hosting institute
2. FSC, and
3. its sponsors exceed/DAAD and BMZ

with the following wording:

On the back side of the cover page or on the front side of the second page of PhD Dissertations the following wording shall be inserted:

Printed and published with the support of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

If applicable, publications and other outputs based on the data and work of your field research shall always acknowledge the Foundation fiat panis with the following wording:

The research undertaken for this publication (or other output) has been financially supported by the fiat panis Ph.D. Grant from the Foundation fiat panis. 

Logos

The logos of FSC and the University of Hohenheim shall always be attached to all published material. Furthermore, all three logos of FSC´s sponsors - DAAD, exceed and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) - shall be attached to all published material. In the above listed templates all logos are already inserted. 

Finally, if support is given by the foundation fiat panis, the logo of fiat panis shall also be attached to all published material. 

General rules for the use of logos:

1. Never change and edit a logo in any way!
2. Don`t cut or turn it and don`t change the colour!
3. The first logos mentioned in your published material/document shall always be the logos of FSC and the University of Hohenheim; the logos of the sponsors shall be attached secondly.
4. Please never forget a logo!
